God is Just and Good | Oct 15th

“Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

   Genesis 18:25

Beloved, our tendency toward partiality persists, even when we believe ourselves to be objective. When combined with the challenges imposed by others, we may struggle to perceive that, ultimately in the end, the Judge of all creation acts for good.

We should remain confident in God’s justice. In a society that often pursues justice and equity through political ideologies rather than a biblical worldview and sound theology, many lack assurance that the Judge of all the earth will act justly.

Let us reflect on the cross, our iniquity, God’s wrath, and our salvation through Christ the Redeemer. These truths affirm that God is both holy and merciful. Consequently, we should be humbled by God’s grace in our lives and encouraged to pray for the salvation of others. God alone knows the heart of every person. The Holy Spirit faithfully speaks to each heart, convicting us of sin and revealing our need for Christ. Salvation and judgment belong to God. Pray that His will is accomplished, that we are recipients of His mercy, and that many will be saved.

In Christ Alone.
